The differences between the Warmaster and Warmaster Ancients are not too many and are mainly due to the first play in a fantasy world. This means that the former has rules for magic and monstrous creatures, but what really makes the difference is the limitation on general orders that can (in the Warmaster this limitation does not exist, the unit can be covered table from one side to another as long as the run-and the penalty for successive orders permit-) and in terms of holdings after a victory in combat (in the so Warmaster Ancientsthe operation is allowed per unit while the Warmaster, if you're lucky with a load of edge, you can let the other army shivering).
